Beauty Salon TI: Sacramento, CA

Before

Beauty salons often use numerous electrical devices simultaneously, including hair dryers, curling irons, and wax warmers. Overloading circuits can lead to tripped breakers or even electrical fires. Ensuring circuits are properly sized and loads are distributed evenly is essential. Proper lighting is also crucial in beauty salons, as poor lighting can make it difficult for stylists to work effectively.

After

Upgraded the salon's electrical systems to meet safety and industry standards. Installed aesthetically pleasing lighting to enhance the salon's ambiance, including color-select lighting controlled by dimmer. Added additional circuits to ensure enough power would be available at every station. Upgraded old fixtures to energy-efficient lighting to help reduce operating costs.

Planning

Wiring a commercial building involves several phases to establish a safe and functional electrical system. The process is similar to wiring a home but is often more complex due to the larger scale and specific requirements of commercial spaces.

Rough Wiring

This phase involved running electrical wiring and conduit before the walls and ceilings were finished. Electrical boxes for outlets, switches, and fixtures were installed in their designated locations.

Final Wiring

In the final phase, we completed the remaining electrical work, including installing outlets and fixtures. We tested and troubleshot the circuits to ensure everything was functioning properly and prepared the project for final inspection.
